The Journey from 1 Campus to 400
StudentVoice began at the University at Buffalo, where founder Eric Reich saw unique
opportunities for campus data collection. When appointed to the join the President
and Chairman on the University Council, Eric developed and communicated his vision
of a comprehensive, collaborative assessment program that connected the datasets
of divisional units and cooperating campuses. From that discussion, StudentVoice
was born in 2002.
With the assistance of classmate Michael Weisman, StudentVoice has quickly become
the leading platform and services provider for assessment in higher education. Today,
StudentVoice is the only specialized, comprehensive assessment program that combines
elements of data collection, reporting, organization and integration.
Since its inception, top university administrators at over 400 institutions across
North America have partnered with StudentVoice on innovative assessment activities.
